For Sale

  • Most of what was for sale in New York SOLD, and we have moved to Germany. However, a few items remain that I can ship anywhere.
  • Many items include the original user manual or instructions (I save everything).
  • You can see from the images, I hope, that everything looks great and is in the condition described.
  • All reasonable offers considered.
  • We live outside Berlin, Germany. Items may take days or weeks to ship to your location.

Questions or to express interest, write us here (remove CAPITAL LETTERS in address).

Here are the items we still have to sell:

Clothing

NYC Police Department Detective windbreaker, size XL, with embossed logo and name, "John," $65 or best offer
This jacket is in excellent condition -- it looks like it was never worn, though it's a little wrinked from the move. Obtained at a thrift shop in 1999, the jacket's logo proudly declares "City of New York Police -- World's Greatest Detectives" in gold. The name "John" is embossed in cursive on the right chest. I thought it would fit my (now) brother-in-law, John, but it's just too darn big. Nylon with polyester lining.

Beer can collection

These 165 cans were collected painstakingly by me as a teen, then boxed in excellent or mint condition all these years. About 29 cans are in less-than-excellent condition (faded, rust spots, small dents, etc.). About 60 have their pull tabs intact (opened on the bottom) and there's a unique 6-pack of Billy Beer (5 pull-tabs out of 6).

Buy now for $50 or make an offer! The cans are in Chicago and a pick-up is highly preferred.

These images show: (1) Bottom-opened steel and alum; (2) top-opened steel; (3) Billy; (4) top-opened alum & oddsize; (7) bottom-opened, not mint; (6) top-opened, not mint.

Antique newspapers

NOTES:
  • Click any thumbnail image with blue border to see larger image in new window.
  • All prices "or best offer" unless stated otherwise.

Old newspapers

  • Many are from just after JFK assassination.
  • Several from right after MLK was assassinated.
  • Also Reagan elected; John Lennon murdered, others. See LIST.
  • All are yellow and some are frayed, as described below. They are in great condition, however, considering they turned up stacked in a box that had been moved many times.
  • The photos were lit poorly and make them look MUCH WORSE than they really are.
  • All papers are in clear plastic sleeves.
  • MAKE AN OFFER on any or all. The papers may also go on ebay.com or amazon.com if I can't sell them here.
See below for pix and pricing.
